WHAT IS YOUR DAY JOB?
I work in DC for a New York based real estate developer.
WHY ARE YOU INTERESTED IN NGGC?
I had always wanted to be more involved with nonprofits, I just didn't know how. There are so many options and it can be overwhelming. I really like that Next Gen provides the opportunity to make a big impact in a simple way. I enjoy socializing with like-minded people, who care about similar social issues.
WHAT NONPROFIT OR CAUSE DO YOU CARE ABOUT?
Can I choose all of them? The environment is a cause I wish I had more time to dedicate resources to. I have dedicated time to tutoring with Reading Partners, in DC. The organization partners young children with mentors, who help them develop their reading skills.
HOW ARE YOU STAYING INSPIRED?
My 18 month daughter inspires me. Creating a better world for her has been making this challenging and unique time more manageable.
