2021 Grant Cycle

We're excited to announce that NGGC's next grant application (in English, in Spanish) is now live!

The deadline to apply is August 27th at 11:00pmET, and we'll host two information sessions on August 11th and August 19th.

This grant cycle reflects our members' shared values and commitment to advancing racial equity by addressing the barriers that Black and Brown communities face in building wealth and establishing economic security.

This fall, we'll make multiple awards, ranging from $2,500 - $10,000, to organizations working to advance the economic and financial security of BIPOC (Black, Indigenous, and People of Color) individuals and families in the region.

We plan to focus our giving toward smaller nonprofits often overlooked by traditional philanthropy. We will also prioritize organizations that are BIPOC-led, in recognition of philanthropy's biased underinvestment in nonprofits led by people of color. You can learn more about NGGC's intent in our Grant Guidelines (in English, in Spanish).

If you have any questions, please review our FAQ Document or send us an email at info@nextgengivingcircle.org.

Thank you to all of our members who participated in our survey this spring to help set our grantmaking priorities for the year. And, many, many thanks to NGGC's Grants Committee for their hard work over the past few months to create an equitable, transparent, and right-sized funding opportunity.
