Every year, we provide grants to community-based nonprofits in the DMV that address an issue that giving circle members are passionate about. This year, we are funding organizations working at the intersection of racial equity and economic empowerment.
You don’t have to be rich to be a philanthropist
We believe philanthropy should be available to everyone. A giving circle is a way for individuals to pool small donations and collectively decide where their contributions go. This model of giving increases the impact of an individual’s donation while building a community of people who want to make a difference. It’s also an opportunity for members to connect and engage with like-minded peers and local communities throughout the year.

The NextGen Giving Circle's funds are held on a platform called Grapevine and its administrative duties are managed by Spur Local, formerly the Catalogue for Philanthropy.
